- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My partner and I have been bringing our cats here since about 2003. From the front desk people to the vet techs to the docs themselves, everyone is professional and very kind. They clearly love animals and are great with people, too. And they keep the place spotless. We've seen Dr Yzaguirre for most of these years, and if you're someone who likes to know all the possibilities of what may be wrong (before embarking on tests) and various treatments, he's your vet. He's extremely knowledgeable, very kind and gentle with animals, and has a wonderful "bedside" manner with pet guardians. VCA clinics do cost more than many other vets, but we trust them implicitly to work in our cats' and our best interests. A few years ago I tried to save a little money a couple of times by trying other clinics and didn't like them even half as much, so went right back to Dr Y at VCA Lakewood.June 20, 2017by Madelyn Z
