  I am 22 years old and was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism last August. I met with Dr. Dorfam in January and he made it priority to give me the radioactive iodine treatment to kill my thyroid. I scheduled my next three follow-up with him to monitor my levels while I dropped from hyper to hypo. I was seen once a month after the initial follow up with his NP. I spent an hour while she drew blood explained to me I was transitioning from hypo to hyper and it took over a week and a half to receive my blood results indicating I was not "low enough for treatment". I waited for my second scheduled appt and arrived early, where they overbooked me with 3 other patients to see the NP. I waited again for my appt with Dr. Fefferman and showed up early, when the indicated I never had an appt with him. After 3 months without medication and 17lbs heavier, i decided to see a diff doctor. I am now seeing Dr. Feffermen in Las Colinas and on my first visit with him my TSH levels were at 60 (EXTREMELY LOW). TheLACK of treatment received from Endocrine Associates was absurd and prolonged the entire process of leveling myself out. I am now on my second month with Dr. Feffermen and my levels are at 11 and should be regular this next visit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS OFFICE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CONTINUITY OF CARE AND ONLY WANT TO MAKE MONEY OFF OF THEIR PATIENTS. I recommend anyone and everyone to Dr. Feffermen who has done a phenomenal job on fixing the mistakes of "Dr. Dorfam" and his terrible office staff.
