  I love Denise Young! I've been a patient of Texas Internist for over 5 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else! The staff is great and I always get same day appointments if it is not too late in the evening.

  After 13 years with Dr. Lau, he has decided to make it un-affordable for me to see him. I rate him as a great doctor in general, but can no longer support him. Without a $3000/yr premium he will place you under a PA or different Doctor in his office. Why support his office if he is forcing you to go get someone else?

  My husband and I are patients of Dr.Lau. My husband has been seeing him for over 20 years. I started seeing Dr. Lau about a year ago. He genuinely cares about the health and well-being of his patients. My husband has stated (on more than one occasion),that the "concierge fee" charged is minimal compared to all the time, work, effort and care Dr.Lau puts in with his patients (even after hours). Dr.Lau will exhaust every avenue to help his patients; we really can not recommend him enough. He has helped me with persistant pain issues, even after three different specialists failed to find an effective solution. He has helped my husband immensely during a difficult spell of kidney stones and other various ailments. Most importantly, Dr.Lau really listens, a skill that many people (not just doctors) severely lack. His assistant, Claudia, is always welcoming, efficient and detailed. His staff has great follow-through; they are very proficient when schedueling appointments and maintaining continuity of care with other medical offices and hospitals.
